Couples often choose a barn wedding venue because they want the ceremony, reception, and surrounding scenery to feel connected. At The Willow Creek Barn, that experience includes a historic 1800s barn, a mature willow tree ceremony space, a creek, a pond with a fountain, and practical support for the wedding day.
Central Indiana couples choose barn wedding venues for the combination of historic character, outdoor scenery, and practical wedding support. Features like a willow tree ceremony space, photo locations, preparation suites, private parking, included setup, and an on site coordinator help keep the ceremony, reception, and guest experience connected in one location.
A Countryside Wedding Experience With Helpful Inclusions
Our venue is outside Frankfort, Indiana, with access from Indianapolis, Carmel, Lafayette, Lebanon, Zionsville, Noblesville, and Interstate 65. Couples can prepare on site, exchange vows beneath the willow tree, take photos around the grounds, and continue the celebration inside the barn.
The Historic Barn Gives the Reception a Distinct Setting
Our barn dates to the 1800s and measures 74 by 76 feet. It provides a reception setting with historic character and several included details already in place.
Wedding packages include string lights, two crystal chandeliers, uplighting, table cloths in several colors, four whiskey barrels, an antique wagon, and wedding and event decor inventory. We also provide 25 six foot round tables, six eight foot banquet tables, a handcrafted ten foot wedding party table, and 200 indoor chairs.
These inclusions give couples a practical starting point. They can review the furniture, lighting, linens, and decor available through the venue before arranging anything else they may want.
Outdoor Ceremonies Take Place Beneath the Willow Tree
The mature willow tree is the main feature of our outdoor ceremony space. It creates a clear place for the couple to stand during the vows while connecting the ceremony to the name and natural setting of The Willow Creek Barn.
The property also includes a creek and a pond with a fountain. After the ceremony, couples can use the willow tree, creek, pond, antique wagon, barn, and other picture areas for wedding photos. The ceremony, portraits, and reception can all remain on the same property.

Indoor and Outdoor Areas Keep Guests Together
In addition to the historic barn, our package includes an outdoor patio with seating and paved entertainment areas with cocktail tables. Fire pits and yard games are also included.
Couples receive full access to the grounds and exclusive use of the venue for their event. The ceremony space, picture areas, patio, entertainment areas, and barn reception remain available as parts of the same celebration.
The venue hosts up to 200 guests, helping couples compare their expected attendance with the stated capacity before booking.
Separate Suites Give the Wedding Party Space to Prepare
We provide separate wedding party suites on site. These spaces include vanities for hair and makeup, seating, and hanging areas for dresses and tuxes.
Keeping preparation at the venue places the wedding party close to the willow tree ceremony space, picture areas, and reception barn. The event party may arrive as early as 8:30 in the morning, providing time to use the suites before the ceremony.
Parking Staff Assist With Guest Arrival
Private on site parking is available for up to 200 guests. Visitors enter through the driveway, which leads to the 200 space parking area.
A parking attendant is included to assist guests as they arrive, and wedding party valet service is also part of the package. This keeps the couple and wedding party from having to direct parking while preparing for the event.
Food and Bar Policies Are Clear
We do not provide catering. We offer an open vendor policy and a preparation and serving area with refrigeration and a freezer, but we do not have a full kitchen and cannot handle food.
We can connect couples with recommended caterers, dessert vendors, florists, DJs, and live musicians. Couples arrange the outside services they need.
All alcohol must be purchased through The Willow Creek Barn because we hold a three way liquor license. Guests cannot bring their own alcohol. Bar service is available as an add on.
